Romance 101 and a rule to live by
Here at romance 101 we believe that there is one simple rule that should always be followed by each and every person out there in love's battle field. Do what you will with all the other advise that you have gotten from other sources, but this one you cannot over look. And what is this little tidbit that will pave the way for real and lasting romance?

Always, but always, be yourself : Basic romance 101
Sometimes the rules in romance 101 are hard to follow. Maybe you feel uncomfortable with suggestions that have been made to you about how to behave or what you should do on a date. But it's romance 101for a reason, because it covers the basics. And the most basic bottom line we have discovered is that being yourself will always reap the most benefits in love later on.

One of the most frequent problems in dating is that one or both parties tend to put on acts. Many people try to play the part that they think the other person wants them to be, as though making someone like some facade can be in any way flattering. It's romance 101that tells you how nonsensical this is. Why on earth would you want to be with someone who might not even know the real you? How long will you keep up this act, all your life if need be?

You need someone that loves and appreciates you because you will never be able to keep playing a role you were not meant to play forever. ALL romance books will tell you this. Eventually you will crack and then whatever kind of a relationship you have forged will come crashing down around you- and it will probably not be very pretty.

Get things off on the right foot and practice romance 101 by first and foremost being the wonderful person that you are. If they don't like you for who you are, then consider it a blessing because now you can go out and, being true to yourself, find the one who is meant for you.
